“Some days I eat salads and go to the gym. Some days I eat cupcakes and refuse to put on pants. It’s called balance.” ~unknown
“Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astair did but backwards and in high heels.” ~Bob Thaves
Balance is an illusion. Stand on one foot, feel the muscles in your foot and leg shift to keep you upright as your mind wanders or the wind blows. You adjust, you stay balanced. This is life. It’s a thousand tiny adjustments, every day. ~Me to my yoga classContinue reading “3.2.1. Quote Me! – Balance”→
OK so Rory is the host of the “3.2.1. Quote Me!” Challenge and I can’t resist this one. Plus, I’m probably spending a little more time sitting at my ‘puter than usual because I’m “recovering” from eye surgery yesterday. I’m a day late and a dollar short on this but I, literally, spent all afternoon yesterday at the Opthalmologist’s trying to figure out why 24 hours after surgery I can’t see out of my left eye. Anyway the topic was

The chosen topic is: “Tomorrow”
I’d like to thank magnoliajem for nominating me for this challenge and also to Bloke and Doodlepip for the inspiration. Any of you who know me know that I am known in other sectors as the “repository of all useless knowledge in the galaxy” and my love of song lyrics is unparalleled. Yep, I’m that slightly creepy person who walks into a room and bursts into song, sometimes appropriate, sometimes not. 😉 With that in mind, on to the quotes:
“The sun’ll come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow there’ll be sun. Just thinkin’ about tomorrow clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow till there’s none The sun’ll come out tomorrow so ya gotta hang on til tomorrow come what may Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you tomorrow you’re always a day away.” ~Annie Songwriters: Charles Strouse / Martin Charnin
On a more serious note “I am that which every nightmare fears. I am the bright star that holds back the blackest night. I am the promise that tomorrow will come, the sun will rise, and the light will shine again.” ~JP Pearlman (from “Starlight Starbright” my current WIP)
Yeah, I did, in fact just quote myself, is that cheating? OK, a more real quote:
“If tomorrow never comes, will she know how much I loved her? Did I try in every way to show her every day that she’s my only one? And if my time on earth were through and she must face this world without me is the love I gave her in the past gonna be enough to last if tomorrow never comes?” Garth Brooks and Kent Blazy
