What is the Mystery Blogger Award?
“The Mystery Blogger Award is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging, and they do it with so much love and passion.” –

Big Thank you to Chris Hall at Lunas on line for the nomination and to Okoto Enigma for creating the award (link doesn’t seem to be working).

Three things about myself:
1 I love cranberries, just raw, dusted with a little sugar.
2 I haven’t watched TV in over 12 years, although I do watch some DVDs.
3 I have over 147 books (both Ebooks and hard copies) in my “to be read” stack.

Chris’s Questions:

What song will always get you on the dance floor?

I Get Around by Dragonette  I Get Around

What’s your signature dish? Baked wild sockeye salmon

If you could meet any author throughout the whole of history, who would it be and why? William Shakespeare. Why? Did I mention it was Shakespeare? And to assure him that someday, people will appreciate his work.

If you could only read one book genre for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? High Fantasy. I love getting lost in worlds filled with dragons and magic.

Which do you prefer: jelly beans or fish fingers with custard (this is the silly question!!)

Jelly beans but only if they’re black.

My questions:

1 Is a hotdog a sandwich? (This is the silly one)
2 What’s the best kind of pet to have? (Dog? Cat? Goldfish? etc.)
3 Is abstract painting (i.e. Jackson Pollock, Henri Matisse) really “art”?
4 Where do you find your inspiration?
5 What kind of prompt to you enjoy more, word or picture?

Link to your best post? That’s tough, define “best.” I mean really I like them all or I wouldn’t post them. That being said, this one particularly speaks to me. Medicine Wheel.

When I’m nominated for awards I answer the questions posed to me and write questions of my own if requested. I don’t nominate others. It’s time consuming, I can never remember who does awards and who doesn’t and I have a dreadful fear of leaving someone out. So, feel free to join in the fun with your own answers to any or all of the questions and consider yourself nominated because, let’s face it … YOU ROCK!

Til next time ~Peace ~JPP

Many thanks to Kristian of Tales from the Mind of Kristian for the nomination. Kristian is a fabulous, eclectic writer, do check out his blog.

The “rules” – well, honestly I think we all know them by now. Thank your nominator, answer the questions, pose your own questions, nominate more bloggers.

Sunshine in December is always good. So without further ado, the questions:

What will you be eating on the 25th of December?
What would you like to see happen in 2019?
Name three things you are grateful for.

Let’s play 20 questions. OK how about 17.

questions

I have had a rather disappointing day. Visit with Dr. this morning did NOT go as I wanted and I’m filled with questions and frustrations. So, to snap myself out of my rather maudlin frame of mind, I thought I’d answer some of Teresa’s questions from the haunted wordsmith

Today’s Questions:

  1. Do you prefer to type, write with a pen, or write with a pencil?
  2. If you had to stay up all night, what is one thing that would keep you awake?
  3. Kermit the Frog – Muppets or Sesame Street (versions)?
  4. If you died in ancient Egypt, would your heart be lighter than a feather?
  5. Mythology: Greek, Norse, Roman, or another culture?
  6. What sport would you watch in person but never on television?
  7. If you had a tag line for your life, what would it be?
  8. How do you like your chicken (besides cooked)?
  9. If your kitchen could talk, would it have a horror story?
  10. If you could spend one day with any actor/actress where would you go and what would you do?
  11. What is your favorite museum to visit?
  12. What is the most exotic place you would like to see?
  13. Eco travel – would you be caught zip lining through the Amazon, sleeping in an ice cave in the North, or volunteering in the Galapagos?
  14.  What is your favorite flower?
  15. Do you like your birthstone? (If no, which month do you like better?)
  16. You struck gold, but it’s not your mine…what do you do?
  17. Would you have survived the Oregon Trail?

FPQ # 2 – Thoughts from a Wisea**

TPQ

Here we go with round two of Fandango’s Provocative Questions. These are kind of fun, make me think. Oh wait did I just use “fun” and “think” in the same sentence? lol

What do you think is more useful: intelligence or wisdom, and why do you feel that way?”

Oooooh, this is a good one. An issue of which I have deep personal knowledge. For you see, grasshopper, I am both intelligent and wise and IMHO, wisdom trumps intelligence every time.

Wow, that sounded a wee bit arrogant even to me. Let me explain.
