For Maria Antonia’s #2020picoftheweek challenge my chosen prompt for this week is “weathered”
“Blue rain from a clear sky,
our world a cube of sunlight —
but to the south
the violet admonition
of thunder”
About the picture: a beautiful bit of poetry found on the underside of the pier on Wellington, NZ quay has weathered the test of time while it speaks to the heart and brings a bit of beauty and reverence to my walk along the sea. A bit of “senseless beauty” of which I am in sore need right now. The pilings were covered with starfish and mussels and all manner of sea life. 🙂
