Found Poetry February # 1

Since I loved the Just Jot it January challenge, I’ve decided to make myself a new challenge for February. I’m calling it “Found Poetry February” and, hopefully daily, I’m going to post a piece of found poetry. Found from somewhere be it something from newspaper pages, magnetic poetry aps, public places, or even songs. There’s poetry to be found everywhere, you just have to open your eyes to see it. Here’s my first February attempt, from magneticpoetry.com

concrete is poison you will devour
as oceans of poetry surround my eye
I remember a caramel fire dance
with joy and sacred rhythm
fevered angel wakes to a ghost
they smile and always haunt you

Til next time ~Peace ~JPP
