Brought to you by Lindaghill.com – #jusjojan. Do stop by and join in the fun.

Your prompt for JusJoJan 2019, January 3rd, is your blog. Why did you start blogging? How did you come up with your theme, if you have one? How has it changed your life? Tell us about your blog in your jot! Enjoy!

Hmmmm, this requires some thought for my jot. 😉 I started blogging because the voices in my head finally won. You know, those characters who run around in your mind like a sugared up two-year-old screaming “notice me notice me noticemenoticemenoticeme!!!!” I was drafting a novel, making little progress, making some major life changes and I was kind of lost so I thought, what the heck, I’ll post some stuff about travel and food. These are the only two topics I considered myself knowledgeable enough to write about.

What I discovered was a wonderful creative writing community, and what had been missing in my life. The name “Wide Eyed Wandering Spoonie” was my original theme. What it is like to travel and explore the world with several chronic, incurable, often painful diseases. That part faded pretty quickly once I discovered that I could write stories and poetry.

I’m still in the love affair stage with my blog. Honestly, this community and blogging in general are an introverts dream come true. I can interact with people of similar minds without having to interact with, you know, actual people and nobody (so far at least) judges me for it. It is awesome and in case I haven’t said it enough recently, YOU ALL ROCK!!!

That’s it for my jot today. Have a fabulous rest of your day and thanks for taking the time to read this. I means a lot to me. 😉

Til next time ~Peace ~JPP
