fantasy woman

“License and registration please,” Bill called out to the woman. She turned and walked toward him casually.

“What is it officer?” Her voice was soft but full of hatred.

She smiled sweetly when she fist punched him in the throat and pelted away. He scrambled to his knees and pulled his aether pistol. A single shot brought her down.

Bill walked to his target. A large blue rose blossomed across her chest where the aether had entered. Bill touched the wound, blue staining his fingers. “I knew their blood was blue” he thought, “but I never knew it was cold.”
